Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is home to beautiful sandstone canyons and towering walls just west of Las Vegas. It's proximity to town makes logistics convenient yet it is far enough away to get a sense of remoteness.

Red Rock offers a broad variety of climbing to suit all levels and abilities. Easy scrambling to 5.14; sport and trad climbing; single pitch to multipitch climbs up to 2,500' long. For these reasons I find myself climbing there at least once a year.
